8/21/2015 – OKC, OK — An Oklahoma City woman accused of being a madam and operating at least two brothels in the metro is apparently downsizing and “everything must go.”

JohnTV has previously reported on the criminal charges against Penny Ann Melton and one of her prostitutes.

Melton is currently charged in two separate cases with maintaining a house of prostitution.

Back in May, JohnTV’s own Video Vigilante Brian Bates distributed fliers throughout Melton’s upscale NW OKC community, putting Melton’s neighbors on notice as to the activities of the accused pimp living near them.

Bates was notified by one of Melton’s neighbors, earlier this month, that the Melton’s were apparently relocating and selling many of their belongings. Melton is reported to live in her leased $400,000 home with her husband, James, and one or more children.

Yes, apparently if you’ve ever wanted to own a “bed set” that belonged to an accused madam, now is your chance!

We hear the Melton’s have actually already vacated the 5,000 sq. foot home.

James Melton – whose name appears on the moving sale advert – is said to be employed as a ‘senior manager’ at Oklahoma State Fair Inc. [Zoominfo, newsOK article].

A source close to the Melton brothel and prostitution case tells JohnTV that James Melton’s name appeared on the lease agreement for the upscale brothel location across the street from the gated Rose Creek neighborhood on N. May Ave. That brothel was known as the infamous Claire’s Red Door and advertised repeatedly on sites like Backpage.com.

James has not been criminally charged.

Penny Melton is next scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 17.

8/25/2015 – A young man who recently admitted to being a pimp and brothel owner in Edmond, while attending the University of Central Oklahoma, is facing arrest yet again as prosecutors file to accelerate (aka, revoke) his current deferred sentence.

JohnTV reported on the arrest and subsequent criminal charges against 24-year-old Ali Hussain Al Yousuf back in March. Al Yousuf was charged in Oklahoma County with aiding and abetting prostitution and maintaining a house of prostitution. Later that same month, Al Yousuf pled guilty and was sentenced to two-years deferred (no conviction, no criminal record), 40-hours of community service, a health assessment, $500 fine, $400 VCA, court costs and 13 classes with MBC (Making Better Choices).

Al Yousuf’s 20-year-old girlfriend (and reportedly mother of his infant daughter), Rachel Lauren Herrera, was charged with engaging in prostitution and she too pled guilty and was given a deferred sentence.

JohnTV most recently reported on Al Yousuf in May after we were tipped off that he was being held in Tulsa for possible deportation.

JohnTV was notified last week that the Oklahoma County District Attorney’s Office has filed an ‘application to accelerate deferred sentence.’ Which in layman’s terms means Al Yousuf allegedly screwed up his probation and prosecutors want to haul his pimping ass back into court.

JohnTV was sent a copy of the DA’s request so we could see exactly what Al Yousuf allegedly did or didn’t do. You can see a copy of the court document below…

Obviously, because our DA’s office has such a hug-a-thug mentality, Al Yousuf must have figured that all those pesky probation requirements were just ‘suggestions’ and that nobody would be enforcing them.

According to the DA’s records, Al Yousuf hasn’t bothered to pay his supervision fees or attend his MBC classes.

At first we here at JohnTV thought that possibly Al Yousuf’s tardiness to abide by his probation was because he was still being held in custody by immigration.

Seems that’s not the case. How do we know? Because, according to Herrera’s Facebook page (see photo left), Al Yousuf is apparently out of custody and ‘liking’ the Kim Kardashian-ish selfies Herrera posted just an hour ago.

Here’s a tip Al Yousuf…. stop worrying about about how ‘cool’ you think you and your woman look on social media and start taking care of your real life before the DA’s office actually does its job and brands you with a permanent criminal record.

The application to accelerate was only filed on Friday, so no court date or warrant has been issued yet.

8/27/2015 – OKC, OK — A convicted felon and pimp whom DA David Prater’s office returned to our streets was re-arrested after he (predictably) didn’t bother to abide by his probationary requirements.

JohnTV has twice now reported on local scumbag Jarrod Donte Mustin, 29. The first time was back in Jan. of 2013, after he (and a female co-defendant) was arrested and charged with the sex trafficking of a female teen runaway. Then again in June of that same year after DA Prater’s office dropped the felony human trafficking charge and allowed Mustin to plead guilty to a misdemeanor.

Despite Mustin’s long criminal history and time spent in prison, DA Prater’s office felt justice would be best served if Mustin only received DA supervised probation, a $30 fine and court costs.

As we should all realize by now, all ‘DA supervised probation’ means is that you damn well better give DA Prater’s office $40 month or your ass really will go to jail (its legalized extortion). You’re assigned no probation officer, you don’t check in with anyone, you are not required to get a job – you just have to send DA Prater his extortion supervision fee.

Well, apparently Mustin forgot to make a payment and in Sept. of last year a warrant was issued for Mustin’s arrest – with a note “defendant may be released upon a cash payment in full or set for the cost docket”

On July 30 of this year Mustin was picked up on his cost warrant.

And, since DA Prater’s office has a collection agency with the power to incarcerate, Mustin wasn’t released from jail until Aug. 4th and only after agreeing to begin making extortion payments to the county, starting in Sept.

So, in DA Prater’s world, convicted felons don’t have to go to prison for sex trafficking teens or pimping adults, but they do have to go to jail if they don’t pay him his money…. (which begs the question, “who really is the biggest pimp in Oklahoma County?” – JohnTV would argue its DA David Prater’s office).

8/30/2015 – OKC, OK — Today’s The Oklahoman newspaper features an article about JohnTV.com’s own Video Vigilante Brian Bates and his recent use of drone technology to bust a couple engaged in an act of prostitution related public lewdness (see sample images below).

The article, by reporter Andrew Knittle, was prompted by Bates’ recent publication of a video showing a known felon street prostitute being taken to a tire dump by her ‘John.’ Once there, Bates’ launched an unmanned aerial vehicle (aka, drone) and captured the illegal activity. You can read more about that particular ‘bust’ at this link on JohnTV.

A copy of the video has been turned over to the Oklahoma City Vice Unit and they have since identified both the female prostitute and the male ‘John.’ Police have turned the results of their investigation over to the Oklahoma County District Attorney’s office and requested criminal charges to be filed.

8/31/2015 – El Reno, OK — Here we go again, more bored soccer moms are getting their minions all worked up over phony claims one of the herd was almost kidnapped by sex traffickers while shopping at a local retail store.

According to the poster’s note (upper right of image), “…This is my friend and it happened last night in El Reno, OK. … at Walmart…”

Yeah, this “big scare” should remind readers of another “big scare” that JohnTV reported on back in May – “OKC woman’s Hobby Lobby attempted sex trafficking abduction story goes viral; JohnTV call ‘BULLSHIT!‘”

In this most recent ‘scare’, apparently some soccer mom in El Reno thought it was a good idea to go to the local Walmart around 9:30pm the other night with her young daughters in tow.

Folks, Walmart is creepy in the middle of the day, why in the world would you want to go there after dark? Especially if you’re a scared shitless mom with an over active imagination.

The part though that really tips the bullshit meter is when the lady claims that “…So we are checking out and 3 managers plus 4 employees walk up to us…” Okay, that alone proves this entire scenario is total crap. Since when have you ever been in a Walmart after dark and seen seven employees total in the entire store – yet alone three managers and four additional staff who apparently had nothing better to do than watch you on the security cameras? You can’t even walk into a Walmart on a Friday afternoon and find three registers open! Plus, there were probably plenty of other people in the Walmart that night that would have been far more interesting for staff to be creeping on.

Like so many hoaxsters in the past, this one makes another crucial mistake and gives way too much detail that can prove the tale a lie…. “…So we pull out and the truck starts to follow us, but thank goodness the cops came right away and chased the truck down…”

Great, the cops were there and chased down the bad guys! Just give us the date and time this happened and public records from the police will back your little daydream up. (don’t hold your breath on that ever happening)

Besides, I thought all you stay-at-home minivan types watched Lifetime Movies – don’t you know the real human sex trafficking kidnappers all drive unmarked, creepy, white, box vans with a sliding door on the side?

And of course, the author’s fears were confirmed when the cops told her…. “…this human trafficking stuff is happening all over. So they were gonna grab us last night or the girls. We were a target. This stuff is real so please everyone stay safe and please watch your kids. I could have lost mine if I hadn’t been paying attention.” Cue the dramatic music and then go to a close-up shot of one of her little rug rats with a big dewey tear slowly streaking down her face.

By the time we posted this article, the above totally ridiculous claim had been shared by an additional almost 5,000 mindless fear mongers.

Please folks, use some common sense. The only thing you’ve fallen victim to are really bored housewives who are apparently starving for attention.

9/8/2015 – Del City, OK — I guess you could say that officials in Del City are apparently suffering from premature adjudication, as an Oklahoma County judge reverses the city’s attempt to close a ‘nuisance’ strip club without due process.

The Fantasy Island strip club promotes itself as “the only place to fulfill your dreams.” Well, apparently the wet dream of city leaders in the Oklahoma City suburb is to shutter the club entirely and not worry too much about those pesky rights of the business owners.

Located at 3220 Tinker Diagonal, Fantasy Island has exactly the reputation one should expect of a strip club in a low rent district; lots of drugs, prostitution, guns, degenerates and violence.

Speaking of prostitutes and violent degenerates – below is a video, shot by a young prostitute previously featured on JohnTV, of a fight that broke out in the Fantasy Island parking lot back in June…

Despite the fact Fantasy Island has been open in its current location for many years, officials have decided that now its existence is unwanted and constitutes a public nuisance. Oh, and by-the-way, (and I’m sure totally unrelated *insert eye-roll*) the city was recently pissed off after their low-ball offer to buy the club’s property was rejected.

On Aug. 13 police paid an impromptu visit to the club and reportedly made 27 arrests to prove their point.

Most of those arrested are said to have been dancers, and mostly for “illicit sexual conduct.” Published reports also claim police arrested the doorman, a club manager and a bouncer. Seized are reported to have been three guns, three small baggies of cocaine, prescription pills and $1,580.

Fantasy Island is said to be owned (or at least partially owned) by local attorney Michael Dean Billings. As reported by JohnTV, Billings is currently charged in federal court with conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of children, conspiracy to travel with intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct, and conspiracy to engage in illicit sexual conduct in foreign places.

Billings is said to also have an ownership stake in the Midway Island strip club in NW OKC.

On Aug. 20, a week after the police raid on the Fantasy Island, city officials returned and forced the club to close its doors immediately – no formal notice, no hearing, no due process.

Apparently a forced closure was one of the few things Fantasy Island owners weren’t going to take lying down.

Post to Fantasy Island’s Facebook page the day city officials closed the business.

Within 24-hours Oklahoma County Judge Patricia Parrish ruled that Del City officials violated state law when they closed Fantasy Island without giving the club’s owner(s) an opportunity to object and state their case.

Reportedly a sign outside the club stated they would reopen yesterday.

Before you go buying celebratory lap dances, just know the party may be short lived. On Sept. 21 the Del City Council will take up the matter and could vote then to close the club for good (legally this time).

And, just in case the legal route of closure doesn’t work for city leaders, Oklahoma County prosecutors are asking District Judge Ray Elliot to revoke the club’s permit to sell beer. Without beer sales, Fantasy Island might as well have their dancers put their tops back on because the place is gonna be empty. That hearing is set for Oct. 5th.

Back to that totally unrelated attempt by the city to buy the property Fantasy Island occupies….

According to county records, Fantasy Island, officially owned by Fly By Day LLC, purchased the property where the club is located last year for $729,500. The Del City Economic Development Authority is said to have offered the owner(s) $600,000 on July 28 to buy the property from them – at a loss – even though the county assessor values the property at $730,000. Less than a month after the club’s owner(s) refused to sell, city officials and law enforcement targeted the club for forced closure.

While JohnTV is not a big fan of strip clubs and everything they attract, we are far less fans of big bully government and their heavy handed tactics.

9/10/2015 – From time-to-time JohnTV presents ‘QuickClips’ shot by third parties that give insights into the reality of prostitution.

The clip below has been floating around the Internet for awhile and reportedly shows a male pimp with at least three females and another male inside a budget motel room somewhere within the U.S.

Two of the females appear to get into a heated exchange shortly before fists start to fly.

At about the 01:48 mark the alleged pimp slaps the white female while exclaiming, “…you talk to her, you don’t talk to me…”

The video appears to have been recorded using a cell phone by a male who is laying on the bed.

While JohnTV could not independently confirm that the male featured in this video is indeed a pimp or that the females are indeed prostitutes – we have no reason to doubt that is exactly who they are.

This video illustrates many accounts prostitutes have shared with JohnTV as to the violent nature of the reality of prostitution.

Most likely the two caucasian females in this video are a part of the black male’s ‘stable’ of women. It appears the black female may be a new recruit of the pimp’s and the women are sorting out the pecking order.

To maintain control over their women, pimps often have rules that, when broken, result in physical violence. Apparently one of this pimp’s rules is that you are not to bother him with ‘stupid ass questions’ and you’re best not to address him at all.

9/15/2015 – Dallas, TX — A federal judge is sending a clear message to pimps and human traffickers – and the message is that if you sell our teen daughters instead of selling drugs, then you’ll risk very little time in prison for that crime.

JohnTV has previously reported on scumbag pimp Justin Dishon Brathwaite, 27, and how he transported and coerced an Oklahoma City teen into prostituting for him in Texas in 2012.

Brathwaite was indicted in federal court after a prostitution sting identified him as the teen girl’s pimp.

As a result of his federal charges, Brathwaite eventually admitted to knowingly transporting the female from Oklahoma to Texas with the express intent of forcing her to prostitute for his financial gain.

In exchange for his guilty plea, prosecutors agreed not to file additional criminal charges and not to seek more than 10-years in prison, a fine greater than $250,000 and no more than three years of supervised probation upon his release.

On March 3rd of this year the FBI distributed a press release proclaiming victory and stating Brathwaite was looking at a decade behind bars.

Apparently federal Judge Barbara M. G. Lynn doesn’t really see the harm in pimping out our youth and decided a decade behind bars was way too harsh – even though the law gives her every opportunity to keep pimps like Brathwaite off our streets.

According to court documents, on July 15th Brathwaite was sentenced to a mere 24 months in prison (20% of the allowable sentence), one year of supervision upon release, no fine and a $10,000 personal money judgement (as a result of an asset forfeiture).

9/16/2015 – Arlington, TX — A Texas cop recently found himself on the wrong side of the law, and in a pretty awkward situation, when he was robbed while receiving oral sex from a female prostitute – forcing him to flee buck naked from the scene and call police.

That’s apparently what happened to Dallas police officer Senior Cpl. Marqueon Skinner, 35, back on June 30 of this year.

According to the official police report (see below), Skinner was perusing the personal ads on Craigslist when he spotted what he believed was an ad for prostitution. Unfortunately for Skinner, he’s not a Vice officer and he wasn’t conducting an official police sting.

Instead Skinner contacted the ad’s author, 23-year-old Ashley Briona Hughes, who agreed to perform oral sex on Skinner for $60.

Skinner then drove to Hughes’ apartment complex and met up with her in the parking lot. The two then went inside Hughes’ apartment and headed into a bedroom. There they encountered a second woman who left and said she was going to retrieve a condom for Skinner and Hughes.

As luck would have it, Hughes located a condom in the bedroom, the two got undressed and Hughes reportedly began performing oral sex on Skinner.

A few minutes later the second woman returned – but instead of condom, she brought two black males – turning this two-some into a five-some.

One of the males apparently had a pistol and pointed it at Skinner in an attempt to rob him.

Skinner somehow managed to flee Hughes’ apartment – still naked – and ran to a nearby phone and called 911.

When police responded to the scene they found Skinner’s underwear, flip flops, sunglasses, cell phone case and City of Dallas parking tag.

Hughes was arrested on outstanding warrants and after being booked in to jail she reportedly admitted to her role in prostitution acts with Skinner.

Hughes reportedly has a criminal past that includes theft.

Skinner was officially criminally charged in August. He turned himself in to the Tarrant County Jail to post bond.

Skinner has been with the Dallas police department since 2004.

No word on criminal charges against Hughes or her accomplices.

9/21/2015 – OKC, OK — An Oklahoma City woman is facing felony prostitution related charges after undercover officers respond to her online ad for, “the sexiest nude massage ever.” (see ad below)

According to court and public records, 40-year-old Jennifer Maye Langston had at least six ads posted to Backpage.com’s “Oklahoma City Body Rubs” section on the night of her arrest.

Using the name “Jewel,” (also uses the name “Jacki”) and claiming to only be 34, Langston promised discretion and, “…the best body to body…” erotic massage, so customers can “let loose and have fun in my room!”

Members of the Oklahoma City Police Department’s Vice Unit decided to take Langston up on her offer and replied to one of her ads around 9pm on Sept 9th.

Langston directed the undercover officer to her room at the Studio 6 motel near the I-40 and S. Meridian Ave. “motel row” – an area long known for prostitution activities.

Once in Langston’s motel room, the undercover officer undressed and allowed Langston to begin performing a massage.

According to a probable cause affidavit, “During the massage [Langston] offered to oral sex the detective for $100.” Upon solicitation, the naked undercover officer gave the take down signal – we are going to pretend it was, “Guys, give me about another 15 minutes an c’mon in” (just kidding).

Langston was placed under arrest and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail.

The Oklahoma City Police booking information lists Langston’s criminal charges as “offering to engage in prostitution” and computer crimes.

However, the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office listed her charges as more serious “engaging in child prostitution” and computer crimes. (see both records below)

A certificate of probable cause with the Oklahoma County Court Clerk’s office shows no indication of child prostitution – so, at this point, JohnTV assumes that the sheriff’s office made a clerical error.

No formal criminal charges have been filed as of this posting. If eventually filed, the prostitution charge should be a misdemeanor and the computer crime a felony.

Langston has a fairly extensive criminal past that includes guilty pleas in 2005 for prostitution, 2006 for concealing stolen property and possession of meth, Lortab and marijuana. In 2009 Langston was convicted for conspiracy to distribute drugs and meth possession.

Langston was sentenced to 10-years in prison in 2009 – Obviously Langston was released after only serving a small portion of that sentence.

Langston is currently on probation.

9/21/2015 – Virginia — A couple out of Iowa have been convicted of the brutal kidnapping, torture and sexual exploitation of a young woman in Virginia – all thanks to an alert trucker who called police.

Aldair Hodza, 36, was sentenced to 42-years in federal prison and Laura E. Sorensen, 31, was given a 40-year sentence.

As previously reported by JohnTV back in February, Hodza and Sorensen abducted a 20-year-old woman in their home state of Iowa in Dec. of last year before transporting her to Virginia in their RV – forcing the woman to endure 18-days of unthinkable torture and sexual abuse.

The victim, identified only a “J.B.”, was rescued after  truck driver Kevin Kimmel called police from a Pilot truck stop in New Kent County. The truck driver told 911 that he had observed a young adult woman who repeatedly was looking out the window of a tan-colored Sun Voyager R.V. parked near his rig and he feared she was in danger.

U.S. District Judge Henry Hudson was unmoved by the couple’s apology when they appeared before him and their victim in federal court in Aug. “Some of the things you did to this young lady are so horrifying you cannot capture it in words … She may never be able to have a normal relationship because of the unusual and rare level of depravity in this case,” Judge Hudson said.

Court records detail how Hodza and Sorensen lured their victim into their RV and then refused to let her leave.

The couple took photos of “J.B.” and then posted prostitution ads on Craigslist offering the unwilling woman for sale.

The couple continued to prostitute their victim as they traveled across the country. Using the prostitution proceeds for gas and food.

When J.B. tried to refuse to prostitute or flee the RV she was repeatedly tortured. The couple would heat keys or scissors on the RV’s stove and then press them into her skin. The couple would also drive nails through her feet. Health officials founds numerous wounds on J.B.’s body that backed up her claims.

J.B. was also reportedly raped by the couple and that they would often use various objects – like a large flashlight – which caused numerous internal injuries to their victim.

J.B. was reportedly often kept on a leash and that at one point Hodza slit a dog’s throat in front of J.B. to scare her into not resisting their demands or trying to escape.

When detectives searched Hodza and Sorensen’s cell phones they found lewd photos of J.B. and several photos where their victim was forcibly restrained and gaged. One series of photos is reported to have shown someone pouring bleach into an open wound on J.B.’s body.

Much of the abuse is reported to have been witnessed by Hodza’s 8-year-old daughter.

Prior to formal sentencing Hodza stated, “This is monstrous, horrible, senseless, inexplicable, inexcusable … I offer sincere apologies. I know that doesn’t mean much because I can’t take back what happened.”

Sorensen was less willing to take responsibility for her actions when she said, “I made a bad choice, however, I am not a bad person.”

Prosecutors had only asked for 35-year sentences.

2. Lashawn Tyner, DOB 8/18/1983, reportedly resdies in the 15900 block of Katy Ridge in Edmond, OK.
   Arrested by members of the Okla. County Sheriff’s office on a failure to appear warrant stemming from a 2015 case for aiding and abetting prostitution, possession of CDS with intent to distribute, and possession of criminal proceeds.

9/21/2015 – Springfield, MO — A springfield overly-excitable college student became convinced that her recently repaired iPhone was being used to enslave her into human sex trafficking – so naturally she turned her hysteria to Facebook where it spread like wildfire…

Earlier this month a woman we are gonna call “Miss Henny Penny” took to Facebook one Sunday morning (see graphic below) with a pic of her iPhone and a fantastical story of how some foreigners at a mall phone repair kiosk had installed a tracking device into her iPhone and were planning on abducting her and forcing her into prostitution.

Penny, who describes herself online as a Missouri State University student, apparently took her iPhone to the Talk N’ Fix phone repair kiosk at the Battlefield Mall in Springfield to have the screen replaced about two weeks prior to her posting.

We won’t bore you with all the details of her post – you can read it in its entirety at the bottom of this article – so we’ll just stick to the talking points (and there’s a lot of them).

• Penny says that after she received her phone back from the foreigner working the phone repair kiosk, she noticed a blue light near the top of the phone that came on every time she used it.
• Penny also claims that whenever she’d be on her phone and mention the strange experience at the phone repair kiosk the phone would suddenly not function normally and even shut down altogether.
• Penny claims that when she opened the phone’s map app, a ‘pin’ was dropped in “some Arab country that I’m totally unfamiliar with.”
• Convinced the foreigners at the mall kiosk were stalking her, Penny decided to return to that very kiosk instead of contacting police.
• Penny claims the same foreigner worked on her phone again and told her the blue light has always been present on her iPhone. However, when she got the phone back a second time, the mysterious blue light was gone!
• While getting her phone looked at a second time, the ever vigilante and totally rational Penny noticed a white guy covered in tattoos that was apparently eavesdropping on her conversations and appeared to be there to intimidate her.
• Fearful for her personal safety, Penny turned to the only beacon of light she felt was qualified to walk her to her car – some salesman at Sears.
• Wouldn’t you know it – when Penny got to her car, the tattooed stranger was lurking nearby pretending to be smoking a cigarette.
• For days following her second visit to the mall, Penny noticed she was being followed while driving around the city.
• Penny then sought the advice of several Apple employees who allegedly told her “that all of these signs are major indications that my phone was being monitored by somebody.”
• Penny then notified mall security, her university and (finally) filed a police report.
• Naturally, according to Penny, the police took her concerns very seriously and pointed out “the fact that these men could very well be involved in the underground sex trafficking that has started to become a major issue in Missouri, specifically in college towns like Springfield.”
• Penny went on what is basically a racist rant about foreigners who have “no respect for our country or women.”
• Penny then revealed that apparently “there is in fact an underground sex trafficking office in Springfield.”

Penny concludes her deranged post with an ominous warning and begging everyone to please share her story “before someone actually gets hurt.”

Wow folks, and we here at JohnTV thought our bored overly imaginative soccer-moms had over the top sex trafficking paranoia.

Within a couple of days Penny’s totally irrational fantasy post went predictably viral with over 40,000 shares before Penny – without explanation – removed the post and shortly thereafter deactivated her Facebook account.

Springfield police have confirmed that they have spoke with both Penny and the owner of Talk N’ Fix.

Zhi Zhou, A Talk N’ Fix representative, said a woman with the last name Penny did indeed come in for a repair. However, Talk N’ Fix points out that the blue light the woman was concerned about was simply the proximity sensor that all iPhones are equipped with.

A handful of articles found online by JohnTV indicate that what most likely happened was the proximity sensor was inadvertently exposed during the repair and corrected during the second repair.

Shortly after Penny’s post went viral she apparently stopped cooperating with police.

Police say that because of Penny’s sudden unavailability, the case cannot move forward.

Oh no, Maybe “those people” got to her and have threatened to pull out her fingernails if she cooperates with the investigation! Quick, a minivan full of soccer moms needs to rush to her rescue – and be certain to post all the details on Facebook…

Previously JohnTV reported on similar human trafficking Facebook hoax’s that started in Oklahoma and went viral. The first was back in May and involved a woman who claimed she was stalked by human traffickers at a local Hobby Lobby store.

The second was just last month after a woman claims she was almost abducted by human traffickers at a El Reno Walmart.

I brought my phone into a repair shop about 2 weeks ago to get my screen replaced at a place in the battlefield mall Springfield MO called talk n fix. When I received my phone after the workers repaired it the first time, I noticed a blue sensor near the ear piece that lit up each time I used my phone; something that has never been seen on any apple products before, according to multiple Apple employees I talked to later on.

I didn’t think a whole lot of it because I didn’t realize it wasn’t common until I opened up my maps for the first time after my phone was returned and there was a dropped pin in some Arab country that I’m totally unfamiliar with.

Within the next few days of me receiving my phone, I kept receiving a notification that my SIM card was unavailable and I would have to restart my entire phone to get it working again. After all these weird things started happening, I talked to a friend on the phone the night before I went in the second time and mentioned that I thought these foreign workers might have done something sketchy and I felt like I was being monitored. After going to bed right after and then waking up the next morning, my whole phone was completely shut off and the screen would not work. I immediately brought it to talk n fix in the mall to confront the employee whom completely ignored the fact that he put a blue sensor into my phone, claiming that it has always been there.

All the while that I’m arguing with this employee, a Caucasian man covered in tattoos is standing way too close to me, clearly eavesdropping on the whole conversation and almost standing there as if to threaten and make me feel uncomfortable. After pointing it out immediately the worker sent the “customer” away but he continued to just lurk around the mall near the kiosk occasionally looking over at me. The worker told me it would be 20 minutes to fix, although it ended up taking at least an hour, and when I finally got the phone back the blue sensor was completely gone. When asking where it was the man completely denied that it was ever there. I could sense something so wrong was going on, and I had a Sears employee escort me out to my car. Good thing I had somebody walk me out to the parking lot, because I found the same man who was eavesdropping on my conversation at the mall covered in tattoos waiting out near my car smoking a cigarette in a nearly empty parking lot at 11 am on a Tuesday. The following days I was followed to a friends house in a car and have not even felt safe walking from my car to the front door of my own home. After discussing my situation with a few apple employees, I was consistently told that all of these signs are major indications that my phone was being monitored by somebody.

I notified the mall security and the university as well filed a police report, and the police took my complaint seriously, pointing out the fact that these men could very well be involved in the underground sex trafficking that has started to become a major issue in Missouri, specifically in college towns like Springfield. I apologize for the long drawn out story but i felt like this needed to be shared with everybody since this could have literally happened to anybody, especially unaware college students that these disgusting people appear to be interested in now. These types of people are dangerous and sneaky and have no respect for our country or women, and are literally trying to sell humans into sex slavery for probably drug money. This issue is prominent in Springfield because as it turns out there is in fact an underground sex trafficking office in Springfield that typically targets younger runaway girls traveling alone. Although I don’t fit their usual target, my case may be the first of more to come of these people looking to stalk and take advantage of college students not just in Springfield but anywhere. Please spread this so everyone can be aware and have the chance to report something odd going on if similar things happen to them before someone actually gets hurt.

 

9/22/2015 – OKC, OK — A massage parlor near south Oklahoma City’s notorious street prostitution district is targeted by OKC police – resulting in one arrest, after a 58-year-old female masseuse offered an undercover officer a ‘happy ending.’

JohnTV has long been suspicious of the OK Massage Spa ever since they opened in the I-35 Travel Plaza on the northwest corner of SE 44 and S. I-35 – 1317 SE 44th St. to be exact.

This location is very near several low rent motels along I-35 known for their persistent presence of drug dealers, women engaged in prostitution, pimps and even instances of human trafficking and violence.

The OK Massage and Spa is also only a few blocks east of the highest concentration of street prostitutes in the metro and the city’s infamous S. Robinson Ave. stroll.

According to court records, on Sept. 1 an undercover officer with the Oklahoma City Vice Unit entered the establishment around 5 p.m. and “requested a 30-minute and paid the posted $40 for the massage.”

The officer was then escorted to a back room where he undressed and proceeded to enjoy his tax-payer funded back rub.

At some point, according to the probable cause affidavit, “the female offered to masterbate the officer.”

The now naked undercover officer gave the takedown signal (that we are going to pretend was, “help, this old lady is touching my junk!”) and additional officers entered the business and placed the woman under arrest.

The masseuse has been identified as Chun Sin Pannell, 58, of San Jose, CA.

Pannell was booked into the Oklahoma County jail on a prostitution complaint and a $500 bond.

No other criminal history for Pannell could be found.

Last Thursday Pannell was formerly charged in Oklahoma County with misdemeanor offering to engage in an act of prostitution.

By law, if convicted, Pannell faces 30-365 days in jail and/or a fine up to $2,500 and between 40-80 hours of community service. The courts are also obligated to “notify the county superintendent of public health of such conviction.”

Because the law and reality rarely line-up in Oklahoma County, Pannell is probably actually only facing a deferred sentence (probation – no conviction) and a tiny fine. Oh yeah, and she’ll probably be under “DA supervised probation” – which simply means she has to pay Oklahoma County District Attorney David Prater’s own version of a ‘pimp tax’ ($40/month).

That fact is probably why the owners of the OK Massage and Spa feel no need to lay low or stay off the radar following this most recent bust – as evident in the five high profile ads (complete with video) the business placed on Backpage.com just a week after Pannell’s arrest (see ad below)….

A couple of things…..

First, OK Massage Spa should have been charged with ‘false advertising’ as the ad above clearly states “guaranteed to be even prettier.”

Second, this arrest starts a conversation on a controversial subject… On the one hand you’ve got those that would argue this is a colossal waste of tax dollars – stings involving multiple officers making $60,000+ a year who spend their day getting tax-payer funded massages in hopes of being offered hand-jobs or more from women working behind closed doors of their own free will. Not to mention none of that cost is ever recouped after an arrest and the costs to tax-payers only grows as individuals are booked into jail, provided a public defender and take up time within our court system.

On the other hand you’ve got the reality that many people involved in prostitution are not doing so of their own free will and how is law enforcement to uncover those instances of prostitution without targeting all prostitution? *FYI – JohnTV can’t recall a single case in Oklahoma County of human trafficking that resulted from a massage parlor bust.

9/23/2105 – Oklahoma City police utilized a recently busted brothel during a reverse prostitution sting in early July – resulting in four arrests of alleged ‘Johns.’ But a legal technicality may put prosecutions in jeopardy.

JohnTV reported on the pre-Independence Day sting back on July 4.

According to court records, several undercover officers with the Oklahoma City Police Department’s Vice Unit, and at least one confidential informant, setup shop in a former brothel operated by the woman allegedly behind the infamous ‘Claire’s Red Door’ houses of prostitution.

JohnTV has previously reported on the arrest and subsequent criminal charges against Penny Melton/Rutter/Bates after two of her brothels were shut down by OKC Vice earlier this year.

The brothels, which were often advertised on Backpage.com and lesser known member’s only websites, were located on N. May Ave. – across the street from the exclusive Rose Creek gated neighborhood – and in an industrial area near the state capitol on N. Sewell Ave.

It was the Sewell Ave. address that OKC Vice used as a staging area for the July sting.

According to court records, undercover officers posted ads with a telephone number on Backpage.com under ‘body rubs’ and ‘escorts.’ Responding suspected ‘Johns’ were then directed to a free standing office space at 4900 N. Sewell Ave.

Once there, anyone who agreed to sexual services in exchange for a fee was placed under arrest.

According to jail records, the following were arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail…

1. Kirk Douglas Kiespert, DOB 2/23/1981, White, Male, listed a home address in the 9100 block of Taos Trail, Lone Tree, CO. However, his Facebook page indicates he lives in OKC and recently retired from Mercedes-Benz of Oklahoma City.
   Arrested around 4:20 p.m. on July 1, after allegedly, “Once inside the room, Kiespert agreed to pay an additional $100 to have sexual intercourse with me.”

2. Eddie Paul Hunter, DOB 2/3/1969, White, Male, reportedly resides in the 200 block of Villanova Dr., Van Alstyne, TX.
   Arrested around 5:55 p.m. on July 1, after allegedly, “Once inside the massage room Hunter agreed to have the CI [confidential informant] masturbate him by hand for an additional $50.”

3. Brian David Cunningham, DOB 2/29/1968, White, Male, reportedly resides in the 4000 block of NW 62nd Terrace, in OKC.
   Arrested around 7 p.m. on July 1, after allegedly, “Once inside the massage room, Cunningham agreed to pay me an additional $100 for sexual intercourse.”

4. Mario Median-Lozano, DOB 11/1/1984, reportedly resides in the 2200 block of SW 61st Terrace in OKC.
   Arrested around 10:40 p.m. on July 1, after allegedly, “Lozano agreed to pay an additional $60 for me to have sexual intercourse with him.”

On Aug. 12 all four defendants were formally criminally charged in Oklahoma County court with “offering to engage in an act of prostitution.” (see links above to view the disposition of each case)

According to Oklahoma statute, if convicted, each defendant above faces 30-365 days in jail and/or a fine up to $2,500 and between 40-80 hours of community service. The courts are also obligated to “notify the county superintendent of public health of such conviction.”

However, as we all know, virtually none of that is going to happen.

At most, each alleged ‘John’ faces no more than a deferred sentence, a tiny fine and a monthly extortion fee from Oklahoma County District Attorney David Prater’s office – in the form of ‘DA supervised probation’ – think mob-esque extortion fee of $40/month. (“you pay me or I take away your freedom“)

One thing JohnTV noticed regarding each and every probable cause affidavit filed in this case…. The wording consistently says that each alleged ‘John’ “agreed to” whatever price was affixed to whatever sexual act was discussed. This very well could mean that the female undercover police officers (and at least one confidential informant) actually did the soliciting and not the defendants.

If true, this is a very slippery slope legally. One that OKC Vice and the Oklahoma County DA’s office slid-down back in April of 2007 when they lost a very high profile prostitution case when it went to trial.

In that case, controversial local defense attorney (since disbarred) Mike Gassaway was found not guilty by a jury after he was arrested and charged with misdemeanor solicitation of prostitution.

Gassaway’s defense attorney, Scott Adams, was able to convince jurors that despite Gassaway’s agreeing to exchange sex for a monetary value, Gassaway had not broken any laws.  Adams successfully argued that (now former) OKC Vice officers Jason Hodges and Chris Swanson had targeted Gassaway and had urged their confidential informant to actually make the solicitation and that Gassaway had simply “agreed to it.”

If the wording in this current sting is accurate, the very same legal gray area may have occurred in this case.

Problems with the sting may already be surfacing as defendant Median-Lozano’s charge was actually dismissed Sept. 4, “in the best interest of justice.”

Fortunately for the DA’s office, its rare that an alleged ‘John’ will take their case all the way to trial when prosecutors remind them they can simply take a plea deal and receive a deferred sentence, no conviction and a tiny fine – not to mention saving the financial cost of attorney fees for a trial.

We don’t know what happened in Median-Lozano’s case, but a good defense attorney will remind prosecutors of their overzealous, failed attempt to convict Gassaway and suggest their client’s cases also be dropped “in the best interest of justice.”

9/25/2015 – OKC, OK — An Oklahoma City man and woman have been charged with felonies stemming from a prostitution sting back in May.

According to court records, undercover officers with the Oklahoma City Police Department’s Vice Unit were conducting a sting back on May 13.

An undercover officer replied to an online advertisement for prostitution posted on Backpage.com.

The officer was directed to go to room 217 at the Executive Inn, located on the NW Expressway, just west of N. MacArthur Blvd.

The officer arrived around 11 p.m., once inside the motel room the female offered to perform oral sex on him in exchange for $130.

As the woman was being taken into custody and processed at the scene, a male walked into the motel room.

Undercover officers inside the room identified themselves to the male and proceeded to perform a pat search upon him.

During that search officers found a credit card used to purchase online escort ads. The man also had five $100 bills on him – which were promptly seized as criminal proceeds.

The female has since been identified as Kushenda Myesha Mabery, 23, of Oklahoma City.

The male was identified as 36-year-old Jeffrey Allen Gray, also from Oklahoma City.

On July 21, Mabery and Gray were formally criminally charged in Oklahoma County.

Both were charged with felony computer crimes – placing the ads on Backpage.com. And, Mabery was also charged with misdemeanor offering to engage in prostitution.

No word as to why Gray was not also charged with aiding and abetting prostitution.

Mabery’s current bond is set at $5,000.

Gray was recently re-arrested and returned to jail this past Monday.

Mabery and Gray were in custody at the Oklahoma County Jail at the time of this publication.

A new felony charge was filed against Gray yesterday in Oklahoma County. No details on the specific nature of those charges has been released.

No other criminal history for Gray or Mabery could be found.
