60 arrested by OCPD & FBI in OKC during ‘Operation Cross Country’

7/30/2013 – OKC, OK — Oklahoma City police report that they arrested 60 individuals and identified three juveniles during a week long prostitution sting in cooperation with the FBI.

The local arrests were a part of a national effort, dubbed ‘Operation Cross Country’, that has been described by the media and law enforcement as, “a national FBI initiative targeting underage prostitution in 76 cities.”

Law enforcement is reporting that nationally 105 children were recovered.

In all the FBI claims to have arrested 150 “pimps and other individuals” – meaning 40% of all arrests in all 76 cities occurred in Oklahoma City.

Locally, 60 people were arrested on charges ranging from soliciting prostitution (either as a prostitute or ‘John’) to aiding and abetting prostitution to human trafficking.

Arrested on complaints of human trafficking;

2. Kristian Renee Gers, 18 (2/11/1995), white female, reportedly resides in the 3900 block of Greenway Terrace in Del City, OK. Arrested for human trafficking, felony computer crime, offering to engage in prostitution.

2. Bryan Dwayne Anderson, 35 (3/31/1978), black male, reportedly resides in the 4900 block of Woodland Park Terrace in Spencer, OK.
3. Christopher Jamal Mathews, 22 (5/26/1991), black male, reportedly resides in the 3700 block of Bonnieview in Dallas, TX. Arrested for aiding and abetting prostitution and possession of marijuana.
4. Albert Kenneth Brown Jr., 40 (11/13/1973), black male, reportedly resides in the 11000 block of N. Lee Ave. in OKC.
5. Rodney Bernard Hines II, 23 (9/3/1989), black male, reportedly resides in the 4000 block of NE 16th street in OKC. Aiding and abetting and felony possession of CDS without a prescription.
6. Ronald Jay, 36 (3/6/1976), black male, reportedly resides in the 4200 block of S. Telephone Rd. in Moore, OK.
7. Jervon Lucas, 36 (3/4/1976), black male, reportedly resides in the 2400 block of North Ann Arbor in OKC. Arrested for aiding and abetting prostitution and threatening to perform an act of violence.
8. Steven Louis Rainer, 30 (10/20/1982), white male, reportedly resides in the 4400 block of Woodedge Drive in Del City, OK.

The names above, plus the three juveniles who were taken into custody brings the total of verified arrests to 60.

Though the juveniles have not been identified by name, JohnTV has learned that they are two 17-year-old and one 16-year-old female.

One of those females was actually also taken into custody during last year’s Operation Cross Country.
